Great Salt Lake Woodcarvers

So, we had our first meeting last night regarding our upcoming Show and Competition in March and we had asked those who could volunteer some time to please show up so we could start the schedule. As usual, we were bombarded by offers of help from all the wonderful members of our woodcarving club. Even those who could not make the meeting sent in email offers of help.

 

I am not sure why I am always so surprised by the quality of the club members, but they really have outdone themselves this year. What a great club we have with really great club members who will do just about anything to keep this going! I guess I just wanted to reach out with a personal Thank You to all the club members, past and present, who have worked so hard for this wonderful bunch of rag tag carvers!

 

Details of the upcoming show will be posted asap, as well as more info on some of the 2012 Club projects, such as the Ark Project as well as the Christmas Tree.
